The proposed expansion is within the existing landfill <br />property. <br />3.1.4 Utilities <br />No municipal utilities are provided to the proposed project, nor does this application <br />request the provision of any municipal utilities. The property will continue to be served <br />by private wells and septic system. The existing landfill property includes a Landfill Gas <br />to Energy Facility that provides the City with approximately 12% of its electrical needs. <br />The proposed expansion provides the opportunity for additional green energy generation <br />capacity. <br />3.1.5 Curb Cuts <br />Existing public streets and curb cuts are shown on the site plan and site development <br />plan. No new entrances or curb cuts are required as part ofthe project. Private driveways <br />and maintenance access ways on the property are shown. <br />3.1.6 Locations of Trees Having a Diameter of Six Inches or More <br />It is the applicant's understanding that a survey is only needed for trees that would be <br />removed due to the proposed increase in the landfill footprint. Trees that are removed as <br />part of the current mining operation do not need to be inventoried. Trees that will not be <br />removed for either the current mining operations or proposed landf II operations do not <br />need to be surveyed. At this time it is not anticipated that any trees will need to be <br />removed due to the proposed project; therefore, a tree inventory is not provided. <br />3.2 DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />The ERL has prepared a development plan in accordance with the City Code.
