a payroll clerk. Lauren was hired at Step C of the pay plan even though she <br />had considerable experience in payroll. As it currently stands, Lauren would <br />not get a step increase until having been with the city for 13 months. In light <br />of the fact that all other employees hired since Lauren have received step <br />increases anywhere from six to nine months after being hired, I would <br />request Council consideration of increasing Lauren's pay to Step D effective <br />January 1, 1997. At that point she would receive increases consistent with <br />other city employees. <br /> <br />Action Requested <br /> <br />The City Council is asked to review, amend, as desired, and consider the pay <br />resolution for non union city employees for 1997. In addition, the Council is <br />asked to review the requested position adjustment for Joni Pearson and the <br />requested pay adjustment for Lauren Mundell. <br /> <br /> <br />
