The rate differential provided in this policy applies during both regular scheduled work <br />hours and after-_ho~~rs. During after-hours call Out, as well as at any other rime, this rate <br />differential will be paid only when the crew is full and the lead lineman is absent. <br />~-5:~7. PAYCHECK DEDUCTIONS <br />By law, the TT TlJtlhtleS is required to withhold federal and state taxes, FICA and <br />PERA from an employee's pay. The TT TUtili ie also has a Health Care Savings Plan <br />with mandatory participation and will withhold applicable amounts from an employee's <br />pay. In addition, other deductions may be made upon authorization of a participating <br />employee including the following: <br />a. Employee share of health insurance h. World Vision <br />b. Credit Union i. United Way <br />c. PERA life insurance <br />d. Deferred compensation <br />e. Flexible benefits <br />f. Seca~rity System purchase,/time payments <br />g. Computer Loans ,~ 1, 200.00 (12 months) <br />~:~ PAYCHECKS <br />Employees are paid every two weeks. "'y~tiThe pay <br />period begins every other <br />Tuesday at 12 00 a m and ends every other following Monday at 11:59 n.m„ Pavdav is <br />the Friday immediately followins the end of the tiav period. <br />Employees are responsible for their paychecks upon receipt. Direct deposit is available <br />to employees upon request. <br />~:~ NIGHTWORK REST TIME <br />The U~~ ilitie will provide a regular field worker with one hour paid rest time for <br />each hour worked between midnight and the start of the worker's scheduled shift, <br />excluding work performed after midnight on Saturday or Sunday. The worker must make <br />arrangements with his or her supervisor before taking such rest time. This nightwork rest <br />time shall be taken during the next scheduled work shift. If the supervisor does not <br />release the worker to take this nightwork rest time, all hours worked by the worker on the <br />next scheduled shift shall be paid at one and one half times the worker's base rate of pay. <br />It is the employee's responsibility to notify the supervisor and obtain approval prior to <br />taking the rest time. It is also the employee's responsibility to take the nightwork rest <br />time if it is approved by the supervisor. <br />28 <br />
