14. PAYCHECKS <br />Employees are paid every two weeks. All employee pay periods end on every other <br />Wednesday. Pay day shall be the following Thursday afternoon. Employees are <br />responsible for their paychecks upon receipt. <br />15. VACATION <br />All regular full-time employees shall be entitled to vacation with regular pay in <br />accordance with the following schedule: <br />Length of Employment Days Allowed <br />Per Year Added per month in Hours/minutes <br />0 - 3 ears 10 6 hours 40 minutes er month <br /> <br />4 ears 12 8 hours er month <br /> <br />5 ears 13 8 hours 40 minutes er month <br /> <br />6-9 ears 15 10 hours er month <br /> <br />10 ears 16 10 hours 40 minutes er month <br /> <br />11 ears 17 11 hours 20 minutes er month <br /> <br />12 ears 18 12 hours er month <br /> <br />13 ears 19 12 hours 40 minutes er month <br /> <br />14-18 ears 20 13 hours 20 minutes er month <br /> <br />19 + ears 25 16 hours 40 minutes er month <br />As nearly as possible, each employee will be granted a vacation at the time the employee <br />chooses, subject to the operating needs of the Utility. Vacation days will be accrued so <br />that the employee will have the allowed days at the start of the year where an increase is <br />granted. Example: If an employees' start date was July 1, 2000, the new accrual rate <br />would start July 1, 2004 so that at July 1, 2005 the employee would have 12 days. <br />Unused vacation carryover will be limited to the time earned in a one year period as of <br />each employee's employment date. Vacation accrued in excess will be lost. <br />Employees in good standing, who resign from the Utilities, after giving proper notice, <br />shall be compensated for, earned but unused, vacation time as of the date of separation. <br />\\ermuserver\home$\peggy\Misc.
