the on-call week, compensation will be two (2) hours of overtime per holiday. Residency <br />rules for field workers who stand after hours duty is: The employee must live within a <br />twelve (12) mile radius of the power plant. Exceptions will be heard by the Utilities <br />Commission. <br />10. RE-CONNECTS AND BONUS PAY <br />Re-connects will be paid at a rate of $50.00 per re-connection. Bonus pay of 3% of <br />current lineman's base pay shall be added to the senior lineman's pay who assumes the <br />duties of lead-lineman when lead-lineman is absent due to vacation, sick, etc. Bonus pay <br />shall be paid during normal work hours or afterhours. During afterhours call out, bonus <br />pay will only be paid in the absence of alead-lineman. <br />11. PAYCHECK DEDUCTIONS <br />By law, the Utility is required to withhold Federal, State, FICA and PERA from an <br />employee's pay. The Utility also has a Health Care Savings Plan with mandatory <br />participation and will withhold applicable amounts from an employee's pay. In addition, <br />the following deductions will be made when authorized by a participating employee: <br />a. Employee share health insurance h. World Vision <br />b. Credit Union i. United Way <br />c. PERA life insurance <br />d. Deferred compensation <br />e. Flexible benefits <br />T Security System purchase/time payments <br />g. Computer Loans $1,200.00 (12 months) <br />12. 457 DEFERRED COMPENSATION <br />Deferred Compensation Plan 457 <br />The Elk River Municipal Utilities, as an employer, will match funds contributed by an <br />employee, up to 3% of their base annual salary, with a cap of $2,000.00. Funds will be <br />with Minnesota State Deferred Compensation Plan and/or Wenzel & Associates' ING <br />Plan: <br />Employer contribution will be made May 31st of each plan year for the employee. <br />13. SALARY ADVANCES <br />Advance payment of earned wages or salaries may be made in an emergency or when an <br />employee's regular payday falls within a vacation period or leave of absence.
