Bidder <br />Triple Combination Pumper Specifications for thc 68 Complies <br /> <br />Cit of Elk River Minnesota yes No <br />The unit is completely sealed to prevent road dirt contamination. <br />A solenoid wired to the vehicle's starter is energized when the engine is started. This <br />instantaneously drives the plug from the receptacle. <br />An internal switch arrangement shall be provided to disconnect the load prior to ejection to <br />eliminate arcing of the connector contacts. <br />The shoreline shall be connected to the Kussmaul Pump Plus battery system and the interior <br />electrical receptacles. <br />A mating connector body shall also be supplied with the loose equipment. <br />The shoreline receptacle shall be located on the driver side pump panel, located next to the <br />Auto Air eject. <br />LOOSE EQUIPMENT <br />The following equipment shall be furnished with the completed unit: <br />- One (1) bag of chrome, stainless steel, or cadmium-plated screws, nuts, bolts and washers, as <br />used in the construction of the unit <br />- One (1) axe with a fiberglass handle, flathead and mounting brackets <br />- One (1) axe with a fiberglass handle, pickhead and mounting brackets <br />-One (1) 6" Iow level suction strainer <br />PAINT <br />The exterior custom cab and body painting procedure shall consist of a six (6) step finishing <br />process as follows: <br />1. Manual Surface Preparation - All metal surfaces on the custom cab and body shall be <br />thoroughly cleaned and prepared for painting. Surfaces that shall not be painted include all <br />chrome plated, polished stainless steel, anodized aluminum and bright aluminum treadplate. <br />Each imperfection on the exterior metal surface shall be removed or filled and then sanded <br />smooth for a smooth appearance. All seams shall be sealed before painting. <br />2. Chemical Cleaning and Treatment - The metal surfaces shall be properly cleaned using a <br />high pressure and high temperature acid etching system. Surfaces are chemically cleaned to <br />remove all dirt, oil, grease and metal oxides to ensure the subsequent coatings bond well. An <br />ultra pure water final rinse shall be applied to all metal surfaces, excluding undercarriage <br />components, at the conclusion of the metal treatment process. <br />Page 68 <br /> <br /> <br />
