Bidder <br />Triple Combination Pumper Specifications for the 60 Complies <br /> <br />City of Elk River Minnesota Yes No <br />cover colors to be determined at a later date. <br />It shall be furnished with lens and bulb colors to be determined at a later date by the Elk Privet <br />Fire Department. <br />SIDE ZONE LOWER LIGHTING <br />There shall be a combination of four (4) strobe lights with a chrome plated trim ring and two <br />(2) oscillating lights provided on the apparatus. <br />The oscillating lights shall be located at the following positions: <br />- Rear fender panel of the apparatus - one (1) each side. <br />The strobe lights shall be located at the following position: <br />- Side of cab (midship) - one (1) each side. <br />- Front Bumper Extension - one (1) each side. <br />All lights shall be provided with red, amber, and red lenses. <br />All of the lights shall be controlled by a switch on the cab instrument panel. There shall be a <br />strobe power supply provided for controlling the flash pattern of the strobe lights. <br />REAR ZONE LOWER LIGHTING <br />Two (2) red strobe lights shall be located at the rear of the apparatus and shall be required to <br />meet the lower level optical warning and optical power requirements of NFPA. <br />WARNING LIGHTS (Rear of Hose Bed} <br />Two (2) rotating beacons shall be provided at the rear of the truck, located one (1) each side. <br />Each beacon shall contain a 50 watt fast rotator. One (1) light shall have a red lens and one (1) <br />light shall have an amber lens. <br />The rear warning lights shall be mounted on stainless steel brackets with all wiring totally <br />enclosed. These brackets shall also support the clearance/marker lights. <br />ELECTRICAL SYSTEM GENERAL DESIGN for ALTERNATING CURRENT <br />The following guidelines shall apply to the 120/240 VAC system installation: <br />General <br />Any fixed line voltage power source producing alternating current (ac) line voltage shall <br />produce electric power at 60 cycles plus or minus five (5) cycles. <br />Page 60 <br /> <br /> <br />
