Bidder <br />Triple Combination Pumper Specifications for the 59 Complies <br /> <br />City of Elk River Minnesota Yes No <br />There shall be a total of four (4) 4.00" grommet mount weatherproof lights provided on the <br />apparatus. Two (2) lights shall be provided under the rear step area and two (2) lights shall be <br />provided under the pump panel running boards. The lights shall be spaced one (1) each side of <br />apparatus and have a clear lens. The perimeter scene lights shall be activated by the parking <br />brake control. <br />The lighting shall be capable of providing illumination at a minimum level of one (1) foot- <br />candle on ground areas within 30.00" of the edge of the apparatus in areas designed for <br />personnel to climb onto the apparatus or descend from the apparatus to the ground level. <br />AIR HORN SYSTEM <br />Two (2) Chrome air horns shall be provided and located, in the front bumper, recessed one <br />each side. The horn system shall be piped to the air brake system wet tank utilizing .38" <br />tubing. A pressure protection valve shall be installed in-line to prevent loss of air, in the air <br />brake system. <br />AIR HORN CONTROL <br />The air horns shall be actuated by a foot switch on the officer's side, lanyard control on driver <br />side and by the horn button in the steering wheel. The driver shall have the option to control <br />the air horns or the chassis horns from the horn button by means of a selector switch located <br />on the instrument panel. <br />ELECTRONIC SIREN <br />~An electronic siren with noise canceling microphone shall be provided. <br />Siren head shall be located on a swivel bracket mounted on the headliner so that it is accessible <br />to both the driver and officer. The swivel bracket shall be capable of rotating a minimum of <br />180 degrees. <br />Siren shall be actuated by a foot switch on the officer's side and by the horn button in the <br />steering wheel. The driver shall have the option to control the siren or the chassis horns from <br />the horn button by means of a selector switch located on the instrument panel. <br />SPEAKER <br />There shall be one (1) speaker recessed in the front bumper. Each speaker shall be 100-watt, <br />bumper-mount, with chrome finish. Each speaker shall be connected to the siren amplifier. <br />WARNING LIGHT {Cab Roof} <br />A lightbar shall be mounted on the cab roof. The length of the lightbar shall be 69". <br />The lightbar shall be activated by a switch in the cab. To meet the NFPA requirements any <br />clear rotators shall be disabled when the parking brake is set. Also, any red rotators with the <br />exception of the outermost rotator, at each end of the lightbar shall be load managed when the <br />parking brake is set.
