Bidder <br />Triple Combination Pumper Spccifications for thc ss Complies <br />Cit of Elk River Minnesota yes No <br />One (1) amber light shall be recessed in the running board adjacent to the pump panel. <br />One (1) amber light shall be recessed into the rubrail ahead of the rear wheel. <br />One (1) red light shall be recessed in the rear area of the tailboard behind the rear wheels. <br />All marker lights shall be actuated with the headlight switch. <br />"DO NOT MOVE APPARATUS" INDICATOR <br />A flashing red indicator light (located in the driving compartment) shall be illuminated <br />automatically per NFPA (1996 edition, 9-11 or 1999 edition 11-11). The light shall be labeled <br />"Do Not Move Apparatus If Light Is On". <br />OPEN DOOR INDICATOR LIGHT <br />Two (2) red indicator lights shall be provided and located in clear view of the driver, warning <br />of' an open passenger or equipment compartment door. <br />One (1) light shall indicate status of doors on the driver's side of the vehicle and the other light <br />shall indicate the status of.the passenger side and rear compartment doors. <br />COMPARTMENT LIGHTING <br />6.00" diameter light/s shall be provided in each enclosed compartment. Each light shall have <br />one filament with two-wire bulb .... ~, ..... <br />Opening the compartment door shall automatically turn compartment lighting on. <br />PUMP COMPARTMENT LIGHT <br />A pump compartment light shall be provided inside the right side pump enclosure and <br />accessible through a door on the pump panel. <br />A. 125" weep hole shall be provided in each light lens, preventing moisture retention. <br />CAB PERIMETER SCENE LIGHTS <br />There shall be a weatherproof light provided for each cab door and two (2) under the front <br />bumper. The lighting shall be designed to provide illumination on areas under the driver, <br />officer, and crew cab riding area exits, which shall be activated automatically when the exit <br />doors are opened by the door jam switch and by the same means as the body perimeter lights. <br />The lighting shall be capable of providing illumination at a minimum level of one (1) foot <br />candle on ground areas, within 30.00" of the edge of the apparatus, in areas in which personnel <br />climb in or out of the apparatus or descend from the apparatus to the ground level. <br />PERIMETER SCENE LIGHTS~ BODY <br />Page 58 <br /> <br /> <br />
