Bidder <br /> Triple Combination Pumper Specifications for the 48 Complies <br /> <br />City of Elk River Minnesota yes No <br />TANK TO PUMP <br />The booster tank shall be connected to the intake side of the pump with heavy-duty piping and <br />a quarter turn 3.00" full flow line valve, with an air control remotely located at the operator's <br />panel. The tank to pump line shall run straight (no elbows) from the pump into the front face <br />of the water tank and angle down into the tank sump. A rubber coupling shall be included in <br />this line to prevent damage from vibration or chassis flexing. <br />A check valve shall be provided in the tank to pump supply line to prevent the possibility of <br />"back filling" the water tank. <br />TANK REFILL <br />A 1.50" combination tank refill and pump bypass line shall be provided, using a quarter-turn, <br />full flow ball valve controlled from the pump operator's panel. <br />DISCHARGE OUTLETS {Left Side) <br />There shall be two (2) discharge outlets with a 2.50" valve on the left side of the apparatus, <br />terminating with a male 2.50" National Standard hose thread adapter. <br />DISCHARGE OUTLETS (Right Side) <br />There shall be one (1) discharge outlet with a 2.50" valve on the right side of the apparatus, <br />te,.rminating with a 2.50" male National Standard hose thread adapter. <br />DISCHARGE OUTLET~ 4.00" <br />There shall be a 4.00" dischaxge outlet with a 4.00" valve installed on the right side of the <br />· apparatus, terminating with male a 4.00" National Standard hose thread adapter. This <br />discharge outlet shall be actuated with a handwheel control at the pump operator's control <br />panel. <br />An indicator shall be provided to show when the valve is in the closed position. <br />DISCHARGE OUTLET (Front) <br />There shall be an 1.50" gated discharge outlet, with a swivel, piped to a front bumper tray. <br />Plumbing shall consist of 2.00" piping and flexible hose according to the design requirements <br />of the chassis. A fabricated weldment made of black iron pipe is used in the plumbing where <br />appropriate. A 2.00" full flow ball valve controlled at the pump operator's panel is used in the <br />outlet plumbing. Automatic drains shall be provided at all low points of piping. <br />DISCHARGE OUTLET (Rear) <br />There shall be one (1) discharge outlet piped to the rear of the hose bed, on driver's side, <br />installed so proper clearance is provided for spanner wrenches or adapters. Plumbing shall <br />consist of 2.50" piping along with a 2.50" full flow ball valve with the control from the pump <br />operator's panel. <br />DISCHARGE CAPS <br />Page 48 <br /> <br /> <br />
