Bidder <br />Triple Combination Pumper Specifications for thc 49 Complies <br /> <br />City of Elk River Minnesota yes No <br />Chrome plated, rocker lug, caps with chains shall be furnished for all side discharge outlets. <br />OUTLET BLEEDERS <br />A .75", quarter turn type, bleeder valve shall be provided for each outlet 1.50" or larger except <br />the deluge and the front bumper discharge (if equipped). The deluge and the front bumper <br />discharge (if equipped) shall have an automatic drain valve. <br />The valves shall be located behind the panel with a handwheel type control extended to the <br />outside of the side pump panel. Bleeders shall be located in a horizontal line at the bottom of <br />the pump panel. They shall be properly labeled identifying the discharge they are plumbed in <br />to. The water discharged by the bleeders shall be routed below the chassis frame rails. <br />ELBOWS,LEFT SIDE OUTLETS <br />The 2.50" discharge outlets, located on the left side pump panel, shall be furnished with a <br />2.50"(F) National Standard hose thread x 2.50"(M) National Standard hose thread, chrome <br />plated, 45 degree elbow. <br />ELBOWS, RIGHT SIDE OUTLETS <br />The 2.50" discharge outlets, located on the right side pump panel, shall be furnished with a <br />2.50,'(F) National Standard hose thread x 2.50"(M) National Standard hose thread, chrome <br />plated, 45 degree elbow. <br />ELBOWS~ REAR OUTLETS <br />The 2.50" discharge outlets, located at therear of the apparatus, shall be furnished with a <br />2.50"(F) National Standard hose thread x 2.50"(M)National Standard hose thread, chrome <br />plated, 45 degree elbow. <br />ELBOW~ 4.00" OUTLET <br />The 4.00" outlet shall be furnished with a 4.00"(F) National Standard hose thread x 4.00" <br />elbow adapter with cap. <br />DISCHARGE OUTLET CONTROLS <br />The discharge outlets shall incorporate a quarter-turn ball valve with the control located at the <br />pump operator's panel. The valve operating mechanism shall indicate the position of the valve <br />or an indicator shall be provided to show when the valve is closed. <br />DELUGE RISER <br />A 3.00" deluge riser shall be installed above the pump in such a manner that a monitor can be <br />mounted and used effectively. Piping shall be installed securely so no movement develops <br />when the line is charged.
