Bidder <br />Triple Combination Pumper Specifications for the 30 Complies <br /> <br />City of Elk River Minnesota Yes No <br />E) Each individual intermittent load. <br />All of the above listed items shall be provided by the bidder per the following: <br />NFPA 1901 <br />1999 Edition, section 11-15. <br />· EXTERIOR LIGHTING <br />Exterior lighting shall meet or exceed Federal Department of Transportation, Federal Motor <br />Vehicle Safety Standards and National Fire Protection Association requirements in effect at <br />time of proposal. <br />Front headlights shall be halogen, rectangular shape, one (1) mounted in each front trim <br />housing. <br />The directional lights shall wrap-around on the outside comers of the trim housing. The <br />headlight and directional lights shall be in the same assembly. <br />Five (5) clearance and marker lights shall be installed across the leading edge of the cab. <br />WARNING LIGHTS (Cab Face) <br />A pair of flush mounted red 35 watt warning lights shall be provided on the front of the cab <br />above the headlights. <br />DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS (HEADLIGHTS) ... <br />The headlights shall include a feature for daytime running lights, which shall be automatically <br />activated when the truck is running and parking brake is released. The daytime running light <br />feature shall be deactivated when the primary headlight switch is turned on or when other <br />headlight options are activated. <br />BACK-UP ALARM <br />A solid state electronic audible back-up alarm that actuates when the truck is shifted into <br />reverse shall be provided. The device shall sound at 60 pulses per minute and automatically <br />adjust its volume to maintain a minimum five (5) dba above surrounding environmental noise <br />levels. <br />MANUAL~ CltASSIS PARTS <br />A manual for the chassis shall be provided with the completed unit. <br />Part descriptions shall be of the expanded drawing type showing all component parts. <br />The manual shall be specifically for the chassis model being purchased. It shall not be a genetic <br />manual for a multitude of different chassis. <br />Page 30 <br /> <br /> <br />
