Bidder <br />Triple Combination Pumpcr Specifications for thc 29 Complies <br /> <br />City_ of Elk River Minnesota Yes No <br />- Electrical load shedding. <br />- Four total load shedding levels. <br />- Each level is capable of controlling ten relays. <br />Load shedding levels are factory preset to maximize efficiency. <br />Loads shed at level #1 are the non-NFPA lights in light bar, cab heater/blower, cab a/c <br />evaporator, cab aye condenser and optional third evaporator. <br />Loads shed at level #2 are the crew cab heater and the cab a/c evaporator. <br />Loads shed at level #3 are the defrost fans, exhaust fans and additional compartment lights. <br />Loads shed at level #4 are driver side scene lights, passenger side scene lights and rear <br />scene lights. <br />SEQUENCER <br />An electronic load sequencer shall be provided. It will sequence loads connected to the <br />Electronic Load Manager. The loads shall be turned on one at a time, minimizing the load <br />placed on the alternator at one time. <br /> <br />AMP DRAW REPORT . i · <br />The bidder shall provide, at the time of bid and delivery, an itemized print out of the expected ~ <br />amp draw of the entire vehicle's electrical system. <br />The manufacturer of the apparatus shall provide the following: <br />1) Documentation of the electrical system performance tests. <br />2) A written load analysis, which shall include the following: <br />A) The nameplate rating of the alternator. <br />B) The alternator rating under the conditions specified per: <br />NFPA 1901 <br />1999 Edition, section 11-3.2. <br />C) The minimum continuous load of each component that is specified per: <br />NFPA 1901 <br />1999 Edition, section 11-3.2. <br />D) Additional loads that, when added to the minimum continuous load, determine the <br />total connected load. <br />Page 29 <br /> <br /> <br />
