December 5, 2006 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Site Plan Review Meeting of December 5, 2006 <br /> <br />.i::';..,,,,.-~.. <br /> <br />The site plan review co1I1.1Dittee met on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 and I would like to make the <br />following comments: <br /> <br />1. Request for Preliminary Plat for Cranberry Ridge, Case No. P 06-15 <br />The Elk River Fire Department has concerns referencing the length of the cul-de-sac of the <br />proposed preliminary plat of Cranberry Ridge. The length of the road exceeds 2,000 feet arid dead <br />ends at a cul-de-sac at the end of Kennedy Street. This preliminary plat exceeds the 800-foot <br />standard set for length of cul-de-sacs as discussed at prior site plan review meetings. The Elk River <br />Fire Department is concerned with the one-way in and one-way out of the Cranberry Ridge <br />development and the accessibility of emergency services, including the fire and the ambulance <br />service. If the roadway is blocked (due to a hazardous incident, storm, etc.) at any point from 207th <br />Avenue South on the excessive length cul-de-sac, emergency services shall be hindered in response <br />to homes located within the proposed Cranberry Ridge development. <br /> <br />2. Request for Final Plat for Sunset Acres. Case No. P 06-16 <br />The Elk River Fire Department has no comments. <br /> <br />3. SuperAmerica ~onditional Dse Pertnit. Case No. CD 07-01 <br />The Elk River Fire Department has no comments. <br /> <br />4. AIdi's Conditional Use Pertnit. Case No. CD 06-27 <br />If AIdi's is considering the use of a 6-inch service for both the domestic water use and fire <br />protection system water use, a solenoid valve shall be placed on the service line as required by the <br />fire department. <br /> <br />5. T-Mobile Request to Construct Antenna and Electronic Equipment at Existing Tower at <br />19060 Industrial Boulevard.
