<br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Sheila Cartney, Senior Planner <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Rebecca Haug, Environmental Administrator <br /> <br />DATE: November 8, 2006 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />P 06-18 Preserve Ponds <br /> <br />The preliminary plat of Preserve Ponds did not apply for a Minnesota <br />Local/State/Federal Application Forms for Water/Wetland Projects which <br />indicates that they are not proposing to impact any wetlands on the <br />property. If the project does require any wetland impacts, they will need <br />to apply for the above mentioned permit. <br /> <br />The City of Elk River Heritage Preservation Commission reviewed the <br />proposed prato There are no known State Historic Preservation Office <br />(SHPO) sites on the affected property; however, the City's archaeological <br />model shows the site to be moderate to high as a potential <br />archaeological site. The HPC recommends the following condition: <br /> <br />"Any item or condition found that indicates the site is likely to yield <br />information important to prehistory or history shall be reported to the city <br />immediately. Further, the city reserves the right to stop work authorized in <br />its approval until the site is appropriately.investigated and work is <br />. authorized to continue by the city." <br />
