<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Building line, as used in article VI, division 13, of this chapter, means that line measured <br />across the width of the lot at the point where the main structure is placed in accordance <br />with setback provisions. <br />Building setback line and building line, as used in article VI of this chapter, mean a line <br />within a lot, plot, or other parcel of land parallel to a public right-of-way, a side or rear <br />lot line, a high-water mark, or a shoreline behind which buildings or structures must be <br />placed. <br />Bulletin board means a sign which identifies an institution or organization on the <br />premises on which it is located and which contains the name of the institutional <br />organization, the names of individuals connected with it, and general announcements of <br />events or activities occurring at the institution, or similar messages. <br />Business directory means a sign which identifies the names of the specific businesses <br />located in a shopping center or business park and which is located on the premises of the <br />center so identified. <br />Business sign and business wall sign mean a sign which only pertains to the use of the <br />premises on which it is located. <br />Cabinet sign means a sign or portion of a sign constructed to be supported in substantial <br />part by means of a separate box-like structure, with each segment of the sign message <br />attached to one or a group of supports. <br />Caliper means the length of a straight line measured through the trunk of a tree six inches <br />above the ground for up to and including a four-inch caliper size, and 12 inches above the <br />ground for larger sizes. <br />Campground means a facility used primarily for overnight and short-term tent camping, <br />truck campers and recreational vehicles. Such a vehicle shall meet the following <br />qualifications: <br />(1) The vehicle is not used as the residence of the owner or occupant. <br />(2) The vehicle is used for temporary living quarters by the owner or occupant while <br />engaged in recreational, vacation or temporary vacation activities. <br />(3) The vehicle is towed or otherwise transported, by its own or by other power, on the <br />public streets or highways incidental to such recreational or vacation activities. <br />Permitted accessory uses include a recreational area for campground guests and retail <br />sales of over-the-counter items for campground guests only. <br />Canopy means a fixed or operable horizontal projection or hood over a door, window, <br />niche, etc. <br />Canopy sign means any message or identification which is affixed to a projection or <br />extension of a building or structure, erected in such a manner as to provide a shelter or <br />cover over the approach to any entrance of a store, building or place of assembly. <br />Cemetery means a parcel or tract of land that is set apart, used or intended to be used for <br />the internment of the dead, established and operated per Minn. Stats. Chapters 306 and/or <br />307. <br />Chair massage, on-site, means a massage performed by a licensed massage therapist at <br />any location other than a therapeutic massage establishment. On-site chair massage shall <br />be confined to massage for relaxation purposes only of the face, neck, and shoulder area <br />of a person fully clothed and not lasting more than 15 minutes. <br /> <br />4 <br />
