Comments by Plan Sheet: · SHEET A2.2 The 6-foot wide bituminous bike path should be changed to a 6-foot wide concrete walk. · SHEET C2.1 Driveway entrances to the main shopping mall (Lot 2) should be widened to 40 feet to accommodate two exiting lanes and one entering lane. Driveway entrances along Jackson Avenue should- have larger radii to accommodate semi-truck traffic turning movements. The loading zone in front of the mall stores north of Cub Foods should be eliminated. This will only add to traffic congestion and pedestrian/vehicle conflicts. e) The driveway in front of the main mall building has a sharp 45 degree reverse curve at the northeast corner of the Cub Foods store. This should be eliminated by lengthening the curve. Loading zone areas should be designated and shown for the main mall buildings in order to review traffic movements. Trash container areas for each main mall building should be shown. · SHEET C2.2 The northerly driveway entrance to "the parking area in front of the main mall buildings south of the Cub Foods building has an outside turning radius of 35.00 feet. This is far too sharp to facilitate reasonable traffic movement. The curb line opposite the Target store at the southwest corner has a sharp 20- foot radius jog which serves no apparent purpose. This should be eliminated or tapered more to eliminate any traffic or snow plowing problems. The driveway intersection at the northeast corner of the Target building has eo,) two sharp curves on the north-south drive.
