Box 490
Elk River, MN 55330

RE: Request by David Gow for Conditional Use Permit
20493 Meadowvale Road, Elk River

Dear Ms. Thackery:

I am writing in response to the notice of public hearing I received regarding the above issue.
I would ask that you please take into account the following when considering Mr. Gow's request
for a conditional use permit to construct a 2000 sq. ft. metal skin agricultural building.

I presently have an interest in the property adjacent to Mr. Gow's, described as Lot 3, Block
1, Hilltop Woods Estate. I am in the process of having a home built on this property, with a
scheduled closing and move-in date of October 1, 1993.

I, as well as my wife Barbara, would have no objection to construction of this structure;
provided, however, that the structure is properly placed well back from the entrance on to the
property from Victoria Drive. Our hope would be to avoid viewing this structure from our
soon-to-be new home.

Approximately 4-5 days ago, I did have a chance to see Mr. Gow in person, at which time he
informed me that this is certainly what he had intended upon doing. If you would like further
comment, please feel free to contact me.

I thank you in advance for your consideration of the above.

:u:y,

Mark W.
