Conduct <br />park inspections 2 times per week to included inspection of playgrounds, shelters, electrical infrastructure, <br />trails, etc. <br />Conduct preventative maintenance and weekly inspections of park amenities to include splash pads, <br />pickleball courts, picnic shelters, and restroom buildings. Develop schedules for weekend and evening <br />maintenance support for facility reservations and splash pad maintenance. <br />Maintain athletic fields to the standards outlined through the Baseball Tomorrow Fund. Enhance playability <br />and safety of fields by conducting maintenance on turf/ag-lime transition areas. Reconstruct pitching <br />mounds on YAC 5 and 6. Edge all ballfields once per season, conduct weekly irrigation inspections, drag <br />fields daily, and aerate and topdress to reduce compaction. <br />EAB Management <br />Conduct EAB infested tree removal of ash trees within city parks and assist the Street Division with tree <br />removals of publicly owned ash trees in public road ROWs in accordance with the city's EAB Management <br />Plan. Evaluate park tree canopy and develop a plan for replacement of trees as a result of EAB <br />management. <br />Page 13 of 38
