• Provide telephonic or on -site construction phase assistance as requested by Client. <br />• Respond to construction phase questions, process progress payments, and prepare change <br />orders (if needed). <br />• Assemble equipment testing specifications and quote package for obtaining testing <br />contractor if requested by Owner. <br />• Develop or review protective relay settings for the substation equipment. Develop and <br />assemble protective curves for Owner review and documentation. <br />• Develop or review LTC controller settings for the new transformer. <br />Post -Construction Phase (Hourly): <br />• Conduct project walk-throughs and develop a punch list. <br />• Develop close out documents for signatures (if required). <br />• Assemble and transmit to Client construction record drawings and vendor drawings and <br />manuals. <br />• Develop SPCC (Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures) Plan. <br />CLARIFICATIONS/ASSUMPTIONS/LIMITATIONS: The following are our clarifications, <br />assumptions, and limitations around which our scope of work and fee was developed: <br />• Resident project observation was not included in the services but may be provided as an <br />additional service for construction activities if requested by Client. <br />• Geotechnical services, including soil resistivity testing, and surveying services are not <br />included in the fee. These services will be provided by the Client. <br />• 69 kV transmission line design and construction administration will be completed by <br />others. Associated transmission line easement activity, if required, will be completed by <br />others. <br />• Remote terminal work at other substations is not included in the Scope of Work for this <br />outline. <br />• Client will administer all public bid openings for material and construction. <br />• Storm water quality and detention volume design and calculations are not included in the <br />scope of work, as it is assumed that these items are not required for this project and that <br />they have already been accounted for in the previous site development design. If required, <br />additional fees may apply. <br />• Pennitting applications and efforts are not included in the scope of work, as it is assumed <br />that no stormwater, wetland, flood zone, or local project permitting is required. Permitting <br />required for access roads shall be completed by Client. <br />• Client intends to provide the following services associated with the project. Client may <br />request Engineer to perform these services later via mutually agreed change order or hourly <br />rates: <br />o Provide preliminary designs for Engineer's use. <br />o Identify outage requirements and durations. <br />o Coordinate construction activities, including managing construction activities <br />performed by Client. <br />o Perform RTU (SEL-RTAC) programming and commissioning, including RTU <br />points list development. <br />Pa1g,e 3 ter 6 <br />114 <br />
