➢ Feb 2013-Apr 2015, Infrastructure/Security Specialist: Managed the maintenance and security <br />of Task Force assets including HQ building, aircraft hangers, IT infrastructure, environmental <br />controls, electrical grid, water and wastewater controls, and associated utilities. Collaborated with <br />external agencies and international organizations to meet operational needs and deconflict <br />problems. <br />➢ Command Security Manager, Oversaw personnel security standards of the Task Force and <br />supported organizations. Conducted periodic reviews of security files of all personnel. <br />Managed removal of security clearances of personnel who failed to meet security standards. <br />November 2009 - Feb 2013, Space and Cyberspace Program Manager, US Strategic Command, <br />Omaha, Nebraska <br />➢ Jan 2011 - Feb 2013, Space and Cyberspace Planner: Hand selected to participate, and <br />eventually lead, the strategic realignment for the DoD space enterprise. Wrote policy directing the <br />future architectures, operations, and orientations of national space systems. <br />➢ November 2009 - Feb 2013, Senior Space Analyst: Managed development and fielding of two <br />multi -billion dollar communication satellite programs. <br />➢ Lead teams responsible for rewriting satellite requirements to bring the Enhanced Polar <br />System project back under budget, $500M following new fiscal constraints and the dissolution <br />of previous architectural design. Reassessed technical requirements, reformulated <br />programmatic objectives, reached consensus on the path forward, and established milestones <br />for new project associated with new designs. <br />➢ Managed programmatic progress on the MUGS UHF Satellite Constellation, overseeing <br />milestone accomplishment, deconflicting new limitations based on reassessment of <br />technological capabilities. Eventually incorporated into new requirements <br />assessment software program. <br />NAVY NUCLEAR SUBMARINE OFFICER (1999-2009) <br />Jan 2007 — Nov 2009, Nuclear Weapons Officer: Primary Officer in charge of a department of 60 <br />Conventional and Nuclear weapons specialists involved with the operation, protection, and maintenance of <br />both Tactical and Strategic Nuclear Weapon Systems. Implemented national directives and security <br />protocols for executing nuclear weapons activities, including implementation of national and state safety <br />standards, environmental controls, facilitating regulatory inspections, monitoring supply chain <br />responsiveness, and handling personnel actions as necessary. <br />➢ Improved department performance by 50%. Coached strategic weapons team to score <br />best performance metrics in the Atlantic Fleet through implementation of team <br />accountability and comradery that brought team to the next performance level. <br />➢ Supervised the first reconfiguration of nuclear weapons on the East Coast, requiring <br />coordination of security forces, multiple teams, and logistics units to on -load, offload, and <br />move nuclear weapons. Required establishing and disestablishing special security <br />perimeters. <br />➢ Nuclear Weapons Security and Force Protection Officer: <br />➢ Managed personnel accountability program ensuring security personnel were capable <br />and proficient to carry out duties. <br />➢ Established and maintained weapons proficiency training program to ensure personnel <br />were capable and effective in weapon usage. <br />➢ Trained security forces, including immediate responders. <br />➢ Oversaw management of routine security drills, inspections of security programs, and <br />operationalization of security plans related to nuclear arsenal, and ship at large.
