Overall program, beginning with initial operational training as well as <br />subsequent on the job training results in certification as a Nuclear Engineer by the US DOE. <br />➢ Developed thorough knowledge of design and operation of engineering plant equipment including: <br />heat exchangers, hydraulic plants, pneumatic systems (compressors and reducers), steam <br />turbines, diesel engines, lube oil systems, pumps (multi -stage centrifugal and positive <br />displacement), valves, water chemistry control, electrical power generation and distribution (AC & <br />DC generators, busswork, breakers) as well as plant parameter monitoring and control equipment <br />(electronic instrumentation systems for level, temperature, flow). <br />➢ Executed extensive preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all previously mentioned <br />systems.
