It Director for Wright County, providing oversight of all IT <br />resources and additional institution -wide planning as directed. Led strategic orientation efforts that <br />culminated in a new strategic direction for the county and precipitated a new organizational reorientation. <br />➢ Responsible for large scale IT purchases, outfitting new Justice and Government centers, as <br />well as Federal Law Enforcement Training Facility. Oversaw the execution of critical operations related to <br />international security over a diverse geographic area. Led a watch team of 30 personnel, <br />supervising the operations of ten aircraft and 130 aviators. Directly responsible for planning and <br />strategic efforts resulting in a 200% increase in operational flights. <br />➢ April 2013-June 2014, Chief Operations Officer, Tactical Operations Center— Sigonella. <br />Selected to fill critical leadership role of the Maritime ISR operations center in Sigonella, Sicily, a <br />position normally reserved for a career aviator. <br />➢ Managed operations and execution of aviation missions, including flight planning, mission <br />tasking, safety operations, security postures, and information processing. <br />➢ Created and implemented the first IP based communications system onboard the P-3 Orion <br />aircraft and developed the Concepts of Operation for the Mediterranean Maritime ISR fleet, <br />streamlining intelligence dissemination techniques that were used as models for application <br />across Operation Centers worldwide. <br />Fomby <br />
