The existing library is located on an existing site at 413 Proctor Avenue, Elk River. The property has been identified as one of the potential locations for the replacement facility. The City of Elk River has two distinct properties both located on Orono Parkway adjacent to and across from the current City Hall. No additional or alternative sites are being considered for purposes of this study. Three optional locations being considered have been identified as follows: Option A: ExistinQ Site: 413 Proctor Avenue, Elk River The existing library is located on Proctor Avenue between 4th Street and 5th Street in Elk River. The boundary survey and topographic survey have been included in Appendix A. The existing site development includes the existing library building and parking. Option B: North Site Option: Adjacent to City Hall and Orono Park The City of Elk River owns Block 1, Lot 1, and Outlots A of the Gospodor's Orono Lake Addition according to the plat on file and survey included in Appendix A. Site development includes existing buildings and services of the City of Elk River. Option C: South Site Option: Across from City Hall on Orono Parkway The City of Elk River owns Block 2, Lot 1, and Outlots A of the Gospodor's Orono Lake Addition according to the plat on file and survey included in Appendix A. The site is undeveloped and has not building or visible structures. Large area maps with site labels are contained in Appendix A of this report text. A city road map identifying the site locations is shown in Figure No. 1 of the following page. Smaller scale photos are shown in Figures No.2 and Figure No 3. on the following pages.
