I feel I can comment from a somewhat unique perspective. You see we (my family and specially my 20 year old son) have been around ERX since it's inception. We've been there for nearly every Thursday night race, for the majority of the learn to ride clinics, for nearly every practice session ERX has hosted, for nearly every regional snocross race and for sure for every national snocross race ERX has hosted since my son was 6 years old. We were there for many firsts at ERX and continue to be there today. From the outsiders point of view ERX is about racing, which can sometimes be loud and busy. But, trust me it is so much more than that. It's about bonding families, building lifelong friends, molding individuals that know respect, self-confidence, humility and most importantly being overall decent people. ERX has done that for my son and I only hope others can continue to get the joy, family time and building of character that we have been able to experience since ERX opened. I encourage the City of Elk River to vote in favor of the conditional use permit to allow ERX to continue its endeavor of creating an environment where family and friends can be together, foster relationships, shape our young people and above all have fun.
