R!QUEST BY JODY KREUSER FOR LOTS 6 AND 7. BLOCK 4. AUDITORS <br />SUBDIVISION NO. 5 FROM R2 TO R3. COMMISSIONER MORTON SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. <br /> <br />Chairman Wilson stated that if the <br />the request for R3 came up, he <br />property is already R2 he felt <br />existing zones and land use. <br /> <br />area which was presently zoned R1 <br />would not be in favor; but. since <br />that R3 would be compatible with <br /> <br />and <br />the <br />the <br /> <br />Commissioner Temple stated that she felt the single family homes <br />presently there should be an important concern, whether it is zoned R2 <br />or not. <br /> <br />Commissioner <br />zoning would <br />increase the <br /> <br />Kropuenske stated that he did not feel that changing the <br />decrease the property values and that the R3 may actually <br />value because the property would have more capabilities. <br /> <br />Commissioner Temple stated that she felt the single family homes in <br />the area are slowly being squeezed out. <br /> <br />Chairman Wilson stated the Planning Commission is operating within the <br />parameters of the land use map and that eventually the area will change. <br /> <br />Mr. Rohlf agreed that the land <br />increased density and commercial <br />existing single family homes will <br />remain there as long as they wish. <br /> <br />use and long range plan calls for <br />development in the area, but that the <br />not be pushed out and will be able to <br /> <br />Chairman Wilson called for the vote at this time. <br /> <br />THE MOTION PASSED 5-1.
