JOSEPH SIPE OF SIPES SERVICE <br />TO BE REVIEWED IN ONE YEAR, AND ALSO TO APPROVE THE PLACEMENT OF A CANOPY <br />OVER THE GAS PUMPS NO LOWER THAN 12 FEET AND NOT TO EXCEED THE HEIGHT OF <br />THE PRESENT BUILDING, AND THAT TWO ADDITIONAL SIGNS MAY BE PLACED ON THE <br />CANOPY AND FURTHER THAT THE CITY SHALL ACCEPT THE PARKING AND THE INGRESS <br />AND EGRESS OF THE PROPERTY AS SATISFACTORY ALTHOUGH IT IS LESS THAN THE <br />PRESENT ORDINANCE REQUIRES IN CONSIDERATION OF THE UNUSUAL SIZE AND SHAPE <br />OF MR. SIPES PROPERTY. COMMISSIONERKROPUENSKE SECONDDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION PASSED 6-0. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Boelter questioned what process <br />approval for a canopy for his service <br />his business was also non-conforming <br />conditional use process Mr. Sipe did, or <br />canopy only and remain non-conforming if <br /> <br />he would need to go through to get <br />station. Site Plan Review for Multiple Principal Buildings on a Lot <br />Harold Gramstad - Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mr. Harold Gramstad of 19342 King Circle, explained that he was requesting <br />site plan approval for the three mini storage buildings on Lot 5, Block 1 <br />of McChesney Industrial Park. Mr. Gramstad stated that he would like to <br />combine the two most easterly buildngs into one building. Mr. Gramstad <br />stated that he must obtain approval from the State Board of Engineering to <br />waive their requirement for the costly special structural engineering <br />study required on buildings over a certain size, of which this building <br />would be. If that approval is not granted, then he stated that he would <br />go ahead with the three buildings. <br /> <br />Chairman Wilson opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />The owner of Tadson. Inc. in the McChesney Industrial Park, expressed <br />his concern that the buildings be well maintained. <br /> <br />Mr. Gramstad stated that the parking and drive areas will be blacktopped <br />and the open areas will be seeded with grass. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Commissioner Temple stated that she felt there was a definite need for <br />storage in the City. <br />
