The ones they were concerned about were <br />hours of operation, that it meet all State Requirements and that this be <br />reviewed in two years. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER FUCHS MOVED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE THE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR THE DAYCARE FACILITY FOR VIKING RECREATIONAL <br />RETREAT WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />1. THAT IT BE OPEN TO REGISTERED QUESTS ONLY. <br /> <br />2. THAT IT MEET ALL STATE REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSES. <br /> <br />3. THAT THIS BE REVIEWED IN TWO YEARS. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER BARRETT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 6-0. <br /> <br />The next issued that was discussed by the Planning Commission was the General <br />Store. <br /> <br />Chairman Tralle opened and closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER WARNER MOVED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE THE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR THE GENERAL STORE FOR VIKING RECREATIONAL RETREAT <br />WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />1. THAT IT BE OPEN TO REGISTERED QUESTS ONLY. <br /> <br />2. THAT IT MEET ALL STATE REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSES. <br /> <br />3. THAT IT BE REVIEWED IN TWO YEARS. <br /> <br />4. THAT THIS BE A PERMANENT TYPE STRUCTURE. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER WILSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 6-0. <br /> <br />8. Consideration of Ordinance Amendment Park Dedication/P.H. <br /> <br />Chairman Tralle opened the public hearing. <br />opposition of the request. <br /> <br />No one appeared for or in <br /> <br />Chairman Tralle closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />The Building and Zoning Administrator recommend that the park dedication not <br />be collected on commercial and industrial plats. <br /> <br />Chairman Tralle indicated that the monies paid to the City collected from <br />park dedication fees would be used for parks, playgrounds, development of <br />existing parks, public open spaces and storm water holding areas or ponds. <br /> <br />The Building and Zoning Administrator indicated that he felt the Council is <br />opposed to neighborhood parks as they are too hard to maintain and feel it is <br />only servicing localized part of the community. <br />
