.

.

.

Planning Commission Minutes
6/24/86

Page 2

The signage was discussed. Commissioner Wilson felt that they would not need
as much signage at the other entrance as they would the main entrance.

Chairman Tralle felt that 700 foot of signage was an awful lot of signage and
would like more information on the exact size and height.

Commissioner Fuchs wanted more information on exactly where the signs were
going to be located and also the exact height and size.

It was the consensus of the Planning Commission to table this until Mr. Art
Raudio could bring in alternative sketches of exactly where the signs were
going to go and show exact heights, size, and design.

6. Consideration of Ordinance Amendment to allow Daycare Facilities and General
Store as either an Accessory or Conditional Use in Campground/P.H.

The Building and Zoning Administrator note that Mr. Raudio was requesting an
ordinance amendment that would allow daycare facilities and general store as
either an accessory use or conditional use in a campground.

Chairman Tralle opened the public hearing. Nb one appeared for or against
the matter.

Chairman Tralle closed the public hearing.

Discussion was held regarding the general store and daycare facilitiy. Mr.
Raudio indicated this would be a convenience for members only who
expect to have these type of facilities and if we did not provide these types
of facilities people would not stay members.

The Building and Zoning Administrator noted that staff recommends this as an
conditional use so that the Planning Commission and Council would have some
control over them.

Chairman Tralle agreed with staff, that this should be an conditional use.

Commissioner Fuchs also preferred to see the daycare and general store as a
conditional use.

COMMISSIONER FUCHS MOVED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL THAT THE DAYCARE
FACILITY AND GENERAL STORE AS AN CONDITIONAL USE ONLY. COMMISSIONER WARNER
SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 6-0.
