Consider Zone Change and Variance <br />Corporation/P.H. <br /> <br />Central <br /> <br />Investment <br /> <br />Request <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />Art Raudio representing Central Investment Corporation presented this <br />item to the Planning Commission indicating they were requesting the <br />variance because they will be .12 acres shy of the required yard dimension <br />by splitting the two lots into three and putting in a four-plex on each of <br />the three lots. <br /> <br />Chairman Tralle opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Mark and $~rbara Lavelle of 11783 191st Avenue was against the zone change <br />as this was all single family homes and there would be to much noise and <br />congestion if apartment complexes were allowed to go in. <br /> <br />Chairman Tralle closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Chairman Tralle was against the zone change because he felt this was <br />definitely spot zoning. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wilson felt four-plexes was a step down from single family. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER MERRICK MOVED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE THE <br />ZONE CHANGE FOR CENTRAL INVESTMENT CORPORATION. COMMISSIONER WILSON <br />SECONDED THE MOTION.
