COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />PASSED 5-0. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission took a short recess. <br /> <br />13. Preliminary and Final Plat <br />Hearing <br /> <br />Replat #8. Barrington Place POD/Public <br /> <br />Barrington Builders. Inc. of 3250 West 66th Street. Minneapolis <br />requested a Preliminary Plat review of Replat #8. Barrington Place PUD <br />which was originally Block 5. The replat was originally considered for <br />eight duplexes and the developer is now requesting approval of four <br />fourplexes instead. <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf went through the staff recommendations which are as follows: <br /> <br />1. No park dedication fee previously paid by M & S Development. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Consideration of Terry Maurer's comments on easements. <br /> <br />3. Private drives within the plat and dedicated easements. <br /> <br />4. Accept drainage as proposed. <br /> <br />5. Easements from 6/12/86 meeting have been recorded. <br /> <br />7. One off street parking and one covered parking space per unit. <br /> <br />8. Consider road layout. <br /> <br />9. Developer's agreement. <br /> <br />Commissioner Morton discussed the road widths of the private drives being <br />12 ft. He mentioned the possibility of expanding them to 15 feet. <br /> <br />An existing hydrant in the replat was requested by Fire Chief. Russ <br />Anderson. <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Fuchs opened the public hearing. There being no comments <br />for or against the request. Acting Chairman Fuchs closed the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER MORTON MOVED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF <br />THE REQUEST FOR PRELIMINARY PLAT REVIEW OF REPLAT /18. BARRINGTON PLACE <br />POD WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:. <br />
