There being no comments in <br />to the plat, Chairman Wilson closed the public <br /> <br />Commissioner Temple questioned the screening to the north. Commissioner <br />Fuchs stated that he felt it would be good for both areas (the adjacent <br />single family and this plat). <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf relayed <br />with obstructions in <br />except grass. Gary <br />of the plat is 10 ft. <br /> <br />a comment from Darrell Mack that he had a problem <br />easements and does not want to see anything planted <br />Santwire stated that the easement on the north side <br />on each side of the property line. <br /> <br />Mr. Santwire continued by pointing out that there will be a hill <br />separating the residences and the replat which will greatly reduce the <br />visibility and possibly make it unnecessary for screening. <br /> <br />Discussion on the roads in the replat took place. Commissioner Kimball <br />suggested eliminating some roads to free up green space and widen the <br />roads to 20 ft. rather than 12 ft. Steve Rohlf suggested eliminating the <br />middle road. Rohlf stated that he does not feel comfortable having two <br />way traffic on 12 ft. roads. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER FUCHS MOVED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF <br />PRELIMINARY PLAT OF REPLAT 116. BARRINGTON PLACE PUn WITH THE FOLLOWING <br />CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />1. ONE OFF STREET PARKING AND ONE COVERED PARKING STALL FOR EACH UNIT. <br /> <br />2. THAT THE PLAT REFLECT AN EASEMENT OVER THE MAIN WATER AND SEWER <br />LINES WHICH WOULD REMAIN IN CITY CONTROL. THE SIZE OF THE EASEMENTS <br />WOULD BE PER TERRY MAURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS. <br /> <br />3. MAIN DRIVE BE OFF AUBURN PLACE WITH TWO WAY TRAFFIC AND COME OUT ON <br />6TH STREET. <br /> <br />4. THE DRIVE BETWEEN UNITS 29-30 AND 27-28 BE TERMINATED BEFORE 6TH <br />STREET. <br /> <br />5. THE DRIVEWAYS BETWEEN UNITS 25-26. 23-24 AND 19-20. 21-22 BE <br />ELIMINATED. <br /> <br />6. THE PLAT BE APPROVED CONTINGENT UPON TERRY MAURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS <br />FOR DRAINAGE. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />THE MAIN ROADS ARE TO BE PUT IN UPON COMPLETION OF SEWER AND WATER <br />AND UPON BEGINNING OF CONSTRUCTION OF THE FIRST UNIT AND THE SIDE <br />DRIVES BE PUT IN AS THE DEVELOPMENT PROCEEDS. <br /> <br />8. RECOMMENDING PLAYGROUND AREA BETWEEN UNITS 3, 4. 5 AND 6. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 6-0. <br />
