COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION CARRIED. 6-0. <br /> <br />10. Consideration of Conditional Use Permit by Dale Lang <br /> <br />Dale <br />the <br />all ow <br />home. <br /> <br />Lang of 19134 TWin Lakes Road, Elk River, Minnesota, came before <br />Elk River Planning Commission to request a conditional use permit to <br />a temporary mobile home on his property during construction of his <br /> <br />It was stated by Mr. Lang the construction of his new home located in the <br />NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 13, Township 33, Range 26, is to begin in <br />approximately six weeks and will continue for six months. During <br />construction the mobile home will be connected to the septic system and <br />upon completion of the construction, the mobile home will either be sold <br />or kept for travel purposes. <br /> <br />Chairman Wilson opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Mr. Brandt clarified that the propety is located on 209th Avenue and TWin <br />Lakes Road. <br /> <br />There being no further comments, Chairman Wilson closed the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />A question was brought up by the Commission questioning Stephen Rohlf <br />about any current difficulties with similar situations. Mr. Rohlf stated <br />there were none that he knew of. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER FUCHS MOVED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF THE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUEST BY DALE LANG FOR A TEMPORARY MOBILE HOME <br />ON HIS PROPERTY DURING CONSTRUCTION OF HIS NEW HOME. <br /> <br />The condition was placed on this permit that the mobile home be <br />disconnected from the septic system at the time that Dale Lang and his <br />family move into their new residence. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER TEMPLE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Consideration of Zone Change Request by Gerald Smith <br /> <br />A public hearing was held at the request of Gerald Smith of 7815 Shingle <br />Creek Drive, Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, to request a zone change from R- <br />la/single family residential to R-1b/single family residential on the <br />property legally described as the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 26, <br />Township 33, Range 26, Sherburne County, Minnesota except the South 209 <br />feet of the West 209 feet of the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4. <br />
