THAT THE REMNANT PARCEL REMOVED FROM THE LOT LOCATED AT 592 DODGE <br />AVENUE, IS COMBINED WITH THE LOT LOCATED AT 580 DODGE AVENUE, FOR <br />ZONING PURPOSES. <br /> <br />3. SIGNAGE: <br /> <br />a.) FREE STANDING SIGN: THAT THE FREE STANDING SIGN ADVERTISING <br />580 DODGE AVENUE BE ALLOWED TO RELOCATE UNDER THE FOLLOWING <br />CRITERIA: 7' MINIMUM HEIGHT TO SIGN FACE, 14' MAXIMUM TOTAL <br />HEIGHT, 10' MINIMUM SETBACK FROM THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF DODGE <br />AVENUE, AND 50 SQUARE FEET MAXIMUM. <br /> <br />b.) WALL SIGNAGE: THAT WALL SIGNAGE FOR 580 DODGE AVENUE BE <br />ALLOWED AS PER C3 STANDARDS. <br /> <br />4. THAT THE PROPOSED PARKING LOT BE PAVED AND STRIPPED. <br /> <br />5. THAT LIGHTING FOR THIS PARKING LOT MEETS CITY CODE. <br /> <br />6. THAT THE OUTSIDE MATERIALS USED FOR THE GARAGE MEET C3 STANDARDS. <br /> <br />7. THAT DRAINAGE IS ACCOMMODATED AS PROPOSED. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER MINTON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />Stephen Rohlf noted that this request is not subject to City Council <br />approval. <br /> <br />13. Consider Ordinance Amendment <br />Regulations"/Public Hearing <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />900.22 <br /> <br />"Sign <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />Janelle Szklarski, Zoning Assistant, reported that the Ordinance <br />Amendment dealing with wall signage in the C3 zoning district should <br />reflect the consensus reached by the Planning Commission at the <br />September 22, 1992 meeting. Ms. Szklarski stated that the Council had <br />directed the Planning Commission to look at signage requirements in the <br />C1 district. <br /> <br />Commissioner Eberley stated that action on some of the minor issues <br />related to the sign ordinance should be delayed until there are enough <br />small changes to warrant further review of this ordinance. She <br />continued that it seems that the sign ordinance has been reviewed too <br />frequently in the past year. <br /> <br />Chairman Nadeau opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />There being no comments from the public, Chairman Nadeau closed the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER <br />AMENDMENT TO <br /> <br />MINTON MOVED TO <br />SECTION 900.22 <br /> <br />RECOMMEND APPROVAL <br />"SIGN REGULATIONS." <br /> <br />OF THE ORDINANCE <br />COMMISSIONER TVEITE <br />
