THAT THIS DWELLING IS USED ONLY AS A CARETAKER'S HOUSE UNTIL WHICH <br />TIME IT IS POSSIBLE CREATE A SEPARATE LOT. <br /> <br />4. THAT THE CARETAKER'S HOUSE BE ARCHITECTURALLY HARMONIOUS WITH THE <br />OTHER HOMES IN THE SUBDIVISION. <br /> <br />5. THAT THE APPLICANT STABILIZE THE PATHWAY AREA TO PREVENT EROSION <br />AND THAT STOP SIGNS BE INSTALLED ALONG THE PATHWAY TO ENSURE <br />SAFETY OF GOLF CART TRAFFIC. ALSO, THAT THESE IMPROVEMENTS BE <br />MADE WITHIN 1 YEAR. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER SPOTTS SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> <br />Commissioner Eberley stated that the motion should be amended to <br />approve the conditional use permit for the entire golf course, not just <br />the caretaker's house as the golf course doe not currently have a <br />conditional use permit. Commissioner Minton accepted the amendment. <br /> <br />THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Consider a Site Plan Approval by Gary Santwire/Public Hearing <br /> <br />Stephen Rohlf, Building and Zoning Administrator, stated that the <br />applicant is requesting to rearrange lot lines in Barrington Place PUD <br />and to build storage garages on a portion of the lot associated with <br />580 Dodge Avenue. Although most of the garage stalls would be used by <br />the proposed buyer, there is a possibility that some of the stalls <br />would be rented out. Staff is recommending approval of this request. <br /> <br />Chairman Nadeau opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />There being no comments from the public, Chairman Nadeau closed the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Commissioner Eberley questioned how close these garages were to the <br />apartments behind them. Mr. Rohlf answered that these garages back up <br />to the garages for the apartment building and should not pose any <br />safety concerns. <br /> <br />Commissioner spotts asked if the garages would be used to work on <br />vehicles. Gary Santwire, representing the applicant, replied that the <br />garages would be used primarily for storage of vehicles associated with <br />the buyer's business. Furthermore, the garages were not proposed to <br />have plumbing or heating thus, the main use would be storage. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER EBERLEY MOVED TO APPROVE THE SITE PLAN FOR GARY SANTWIRE <br />TO ALLOW STORAGE GARAGES TO BE BUILT AT 580 DODGE AVENUE CITING STAFF'S <br />MEMO AND SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING STIPULATIONS: <br />
