<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DEBT SERVICE: The principal and interest necessary to pay <br />bonded indebtedness of wastewater treatment facilities owned or <br />operated by the City. Debt service is distinct from annual <br />operation, maintenance and replacement costs. <br /> <br />DEBT SERVICE CHARGE: The charge related to the principal and <br />interest necessary to pay bonded indebtedness of wastewater <br />treatment facilities owned or operated by the City. The debt <br />service charge shall include a "debt service connection charge: <br />and a "debt service user charge." <br /> <br />DOMESTIC USER: Those establishments and related occupations, <br />if any, which are generally considered domestic services and <br />whose discharge consists solely of sanitary wastes. This <br />category indicates single family homes, townhouses, duplex <br />unit, condominiums, apartment units and mobile homes. <br /> <br />EQUIVALENT RESIDENTIAL UNIT: A unit of wastewater volume of <br />260 gallons per day at an approximate strength of 200 mg/l of <br />BODS and 250 mg/l of total suspended solids. <br /> <br />FLOW: The quantity of sewage expressed in gallons or cubic <br />feet per twenty-four (24) hours. <br /> <br />GENERAL MUNICIPAL FLOW: The total sewage flow discharged to <br />the wastewater treatment facilities, including sanitary waste <br />and infiltration, minus the flows from industrial users, other <br />municipalities and contract users. <br /> <br />General municipal flow, based on the design of the wastewater <br />treatment facilities, is further defined as flow containing <br />five-day BOD concentrations not greater than two hundred (200) <br />milligrams per liter and suspended solid concentrations not <br />greater than two hundred fifty (250) milligrams per liter. <br /> <br />GENERAL MUNICIPAL USER: Any user discharging sewage into the <br />general municipal flow other than industrial users, <br />municipalities and other contract users. "General municipal <br />user" includes domestic users, commercial users, institutional <br />users, institutional users and governmental user which are not <br />contract users. <br /> <br />GOVERNMENTAL USER: Includes those establishments whose <br />function is the administration and/or execution of governmental <br />programs as well as the offices of executives, legislative <br />bodes and agencies which provide general support services for <br />government. <br /> <br />INDUSTRIAL USER: Any nongovernmental user of the wastewater <br />treatment facilities identified in the "Federal Standard <br />Industrial Classifications Manual, 1972," Office of Manangement <br />and Budget, as amended and supplemented under the following <br />divisions: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing. <br />
