18 Year Action Plan was developed by the Energy City Commission and created as goals and priorities for Energy City. The majority of the items listed are already being done by various city departments in some way. We'd like to discuss areasof focus and priorities for the
future. Additionally we are looking for ways to track and highlight the successes of many departments. We'd also like to discuss how we communicate this information to the public and internally among staff. The Energy City Commission will be presenting some updates to
Council on A,- 4 and will be looking m them for more clear direction for the goals and outcomes they'd like to see from the ECC. We have a fewvery passionate people on our commission who would like to take a more active role in accomplishing these goals and furthering
Elk River as Energy City.
GOAL 1: Promote the City of Elk River as the "Energy City' -The city of Elk River was established as
Participant Contributors
the "Energy City" in 1996 and received a federal trademark in 2008.
