<br />C. A special use fee may be required in some events/activities. This fee will be applied to <br />cover unusual, anticipated expenses, such as excessive clean-up, unusual set-up, excess <br />electricity, or phone usage, and/or damages associated with the user’s program or events. <br />The special user fee is payable at the time the reservation is made and will be held until it <br />has been determined by the city if any or all of the fee was used. Any unused balance will <br />be returned to the user and/or invoiced. <br />D. A damage deposit in addition to the rental fee is required as per defined under this <br />section. <br />E. ARENA <br />1. Non-Ice Activities (Dry floor events) <br />Specific to the Ice Arena for non-ice (dry floor) events or a damage deposit of <br />three hundred dollars ($300) is required within two weeks of the event date. <br />Furniture and Things Community Event Center <br />SECTION 10 <br />DAMAGE DEPOSITS <br /> <br />F. MEETING ROOMS <br />1. A damage deposit is required upon issuance of permits when scheduling four (4) <br />or more dates and/or when service beverages and food. Specific to the <br />meeting room, a damage deposit of one hundred dollars ($100.00) is required <br />two weeks prior to the (first) meeting date for events serving food or beverages <br />(i.e. coffee, rolls, box lunches). <br />2. Damage deposits may be waived at the discretion of the Rental Coordinator <br />and/or Facility Superintendent. A User group will be invoiced for any damages <br />for the full value of the costs incurred by the FTCEC to repair the damage or <br />associated costs depending upon the incident. <br />G. FIELDHOUSE <br />Specific to the Fieldhouse (full or half size rentals), a damage deposit of three <br />hundred dollars ($300.00) is required at the time of the reservation due to its high <br />demand use. . <br />H. MULTIPLE FACILITY DEPOSIT <br />Specific to using multiple facilities to include two (2) or more areas and/or <br />Fieldhouse for an event, deposit of three hundred dollars ($300.00) is required <br />within two weeks of the event date. <br /> <br />10.4 VANDALISM POLICY <br />A. Application <br />This policy applies to circumstances under which real or personal property at the <br />Furniture and Things Community Event Center is damaged because of vandalism, <br />negligence, or carelessness and/or poor judgement on the part of the person(s) causing <br />the damage. <br />B.
