Refer to Section . <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Furniture and Things Community Event Center <br />SECTION 10 <br />DAMAGE DEPOSITS <br /> <br />10.0 PURPOSE <br />To establish procedures and policies for the collection of and refund for a damage deposit. The <br />intent of the damage deposit is to ensure that the facility is used properly, and User groups <br />adhere to facility policies. <br /> <br />10.1 DEFINITIONS <br />Damage Deposit: The set fee collected from a facility user to insure the proper use, <br />cleaning, and treatment of a rented area. This fee is set to cover any <br />damage above and/or beyond normal room use. <br />Meeting Rooms: This includes the party room on first floor, the flex space and the <br />meeting rooms on the second floor. <br /> <br />10.2 GENERAL GUIDELINES <br />A. The Facility User forfeits the damage deposit for improper use, vandalism, and damage <br />to equipment or the facility caused by their use. <br />B. The Facility User will be invoiced for the full costs incurred for material and labor to <br />replace and/or repair damage. Facility use will be denied until full restitution is received. <br /> <br />10.3 DAMAGE DEPOSIT FEE SCHEDULES <br />A. A damage fee specific to a given area follows. The damage deposits will not be required <br />of City departments. Should damage occur, the respective department would be <br />invoiced. <br />B. Damage deposits are refundable unless damage, injury or other facility or staff related <br />incident occurs. This will remain at the discretion of the Facility Superintendent. <br />5 <br /> <br /> <br />
