Colleen Eddy Elk River Public Arts Committee <br />Printed On: 15 October 2020 FY21 Project Grant Rnd1 8 <br />Reflection and Action* <br />Describe how your organization will utilize the information obtained from evaluation. <br />The city will share evaluation information with the Milligan Studio to work in collaboration on activities <br />associated with the information. Activities and events might be coordinated with local students and residents <br />who have shown interesting in learning more about the sculpture and the work and materials that went into <br />its creation. Also the designated webpage will also be a source of ever evolving information as the sculpture <br />weathers. <br />ORGANIZATIONAL ABILITY <br />ORGANIZATIONAL ABILITY - 6 of 35 points <br />Evaluators use the following criteria when reviewing this section of the application: <br />1. Project team is well assembled, inclusive, qualified and demonstrates the capacity to design and execute <br />activities as proposed. <br />2. Project team and/or partners have appropriate and clearly articulated responsibilities. If volunteers will <br />play a significant role in activities, that has been described. <br />3. An effective promotion and marketing plan are in place which supports the project's‚ participation <br />goals/audience estimates and fosters public awareness and/or engagement. <br />4. Project plan is logical with a complete and realistic timeline. <br />5. The budget revenue streams are realistic, attainable and the cash match is likely to be met; expenses are <br />reasonable and appropriate and honor the work of artists and arts organizations. She has been with the City of Elk River for over six <br />and half years. She implemented the first public art initiative for the City of Elk River in 2014. The Whimsical <br />Windmill is on display at the Great River Regional Library. Colleen spent seven years as the President of the <br />Forest Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, where she developed and implemented business initiatives, <br />community events and membership organizational activities. Colleen is a past Board of Director of Friends of <br />Stillwater Parks, where she worked closely with the local ArtReach Alliance organization.
