Sherburne County Multi -Hazard Mitigation Plan, 2020 <br />Public Works participates in training activities with the Sheriff's Office in the EOC. <br />Annual safety training. <br />Periodic participation in Disaster Mitigation planning events - usually a couple a year. <br />4. What funding or other resources are available to help accomplish mitigation in your <br />community? Sherburne County collaborates with their state and federal partners to address <br />mitigation efforts, and ideas stemming from previous disasters within the county. <br />Sherburne County is recognized as a Firewise Community and can apply for MN DNR Firewise <br />grant money if needed. <br />Limited other than County Levy/Tax Dollars. <br />S. What program gaps or deficiencies do you feel exist that are a barrier to accomplishing <br />mitigation in your community?
