Services for park system plans include review and analysis of <br />existing facilities, facilitation of the public-involved process, preparation of findings and <br />recommendations, and preparation of the final Park, Open Space, and Trail System Plans. <br />A few of the multitude of communities she has prepared plans for include: <br /> -Rogers, MN -Bemidji, MN -Coon Rapids, MN -Lino Lakes, MN -Hastings, MN -Carver County, MN -Minnetonka, MN -Northfield, MN <br />Candance Amberg, PLA <br />SENIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT <br />Candace has been directly involved in a variety of landscape architectural projects <br />from the initial client contact phases, through park system planning and design with <br />public facilitation since 1996. With her educational experience in planning and design, <br />including a focus on natural resource management, along with professional experience, <br />Candace brings an environmentally based planning and design perspective that allows <br />for creative solutions to emerge. Candace is responsive to the planning and design needs <br />of the client, as well as the end users, and strives to provide design solutions that benefit <br />all involved. She enjoys the responsibility and commitment that is required in creating <br />innovative and highly desirable outdoor spaces that improve communities. Candace is <br />currently working with the City of Elk River on the Woodland Trails Regional project. <br />Woodland Trails Regional Project | Elk River, MN <br />CLIENT: CITY OF ELK RIVER <br />PROJECT DURATION: DEC 2018 - PRESENT <br />The project includes creating a unique destination nature play area and large group <br />shelter within the Woodland Trails Regional Park. The project involves facilitating <br />meetings with a design committee made up of engaged citizens who were instrumental <br />in selecting priorities for the park. WSB services included topographic survey, design <br />development through construction documents and bidding.
