SECTION 01310-COORDINATION <br /> PART 1-- GENERAL <br /> 1.1 SEQUENCE OF CONSTRUCTION <br /> A. A written project management scheduling tool (i.e.,critical path (CPM),detailed bar chart,etc.)shall be <br /> employed by the Contractor for cost value reporting, planning and scheduling of all work required under <br /> the Contract Documents. This schedule shall show the order in which the Contractor proposes to execute <br /> the work with dates on which it proposes to start the various phases of the work and the estimated <br /> completion date of each phase.The Contractor shall submit a preliminary version of its intended schedule <br /> within 10 working days following the Notice of Award on the attached form or on a form of its own <br /> choosing. The Contractor is required to show the initial critical path(CPM)of tasks to be performed. <br /> B. Unless otherwise approved by the Engineer,the schedule shall also include an anticipated payment <br /> schedule for the volume of work to be completed each month.This schedule shall indicate the Contractor's <br /> intention and ability to complete the work within the contract times,as specified in Article 4 of Section <br /> 00520"Agreement"of this Project Manual. <br /> C. The Preconstruction Conference as outlined in Section 01315"Project Meetings"of this Project Manual will <br /> not be conducted until the schedule is submitted. In addition, no construction staking shall be provided <br /> until the schedule is submitted by the Contractor and reviewed by the Engineer. <br /> 1.2 WORKING HOURS <br /> A. Except in connection with safety or emergency situations,all work at the site shall be performed between <br /> the hours of 7:00 a.m.and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday,and 8:00 a.m.and 5:00 p.m.Saturday. No <br /> work shall be performed on Sunday. <br /> B. The Contractor shall notify the Owner and Engineer of any work planned on Saturday,Sunday,or any legal <br /> holidays at least 48 hours prior to such work. <br /> C. The Contractor shall coordinate any construction or hauling activity in the vicinity of churches,schools, <br /> medical facilities,and funeral homes. The Contractor shall be cognizant of the disruptive effects of <br /> continued construction during funerals. The Owner reserves the right to temporarily stop construction <br /> within one block of,and during the time of,any funeral procession. No compensation shall be granted to <br /> the Contractor due to temporary delays caused by funerals. <br /> 1.3 TRAFFIC CONTROL <br /> A. Reference Specification 01555"Maintenance and Control of Traffic"of this Project Manual. <br /> 1.4 COORDINATION WITH BUSINESSES AND PRIVATE PROPERTY OWNERS ADJACENT TO THE PROJECT <br /> A. The Contractor shall notify all property owners and occupants adjacent to the project 2 days in advance to <br /> allow moving machinery and/or vehicles or other items that may be blocked in or damaged due to the <br /> upcoming construction in the area. Access to the properties shall be restored as soon as possible after each <br /> phase of construction. <br /> B. The Contractor shall maintain access to Dove Tree Apartments at all times. Coordinate construction in <br /> entrance with property owner. <br /> 1.5 COORDINATION WITH UTILITY COMPANIES <br /> A. The Contractor is responsible for working with public and private utility companies in protecting and/or <br /> relocating existing or new utility lines located near and affected by this construction. <br /> 1.
