In all cases, Contractor will coordinate its Work with Owner <br /> to avoid any interference with the work of any Separate Contractors. <br /> 1.5.55 Shop Drawings. The drawings, diagrams, schedules, and other data specially prepared for the <br /> Work by the Contractor, Subcontractor, manufacturer, supplier, or distributor, to illustrate some <br /> portion of the Work. <br /> 1.5.56 Site. The real property upon which the Project is located and where the Work is to be performed, <br /> including any easements for access thereto, and other lands which are designated for use by the <br /> Contractor, if any, in the Contract Documents. <br /> 1.5.57 Specifications. The portion of the Contract Documents consisting of the written requirements for <br /> materials, equipment, systems, standards, and workmanship for the Work, and performance of <br /> related services. <br /> 1.5.58 Subconsultant. A person or entity that has a direct contract with Owner's Design Professional, <br /> properly licensed, to provide professional services as defined in the Contract Documents, under <br /> the direction of the Owner's Design Professional. The term Subconsultant means the <br /> Subconsultant or his Authorized Representative. <br /> 1.5.59 Subcontract. Any separate agreement between Contractor and any Subcontractor specifically <br /> related to the Project or Work, including supply contracts, and equipment rental or lease <br /> agreements entered into by Contractor for the Project. <br /> 1.5.60 Subcontractor. A person or entity that has a direct contract with Contractor to perform a portion <br /> of the construction required in connection with the Work or to furnish materials, equipment, or <br /> services to Contractor in connection with or for incorporation into the Work. The term <br /> "Subcontractor" is referred to throughout the Contract Documents as if singular in number and <br /> means a Subcontractor, an Authorized Representative of the Subcontractor, or any lower tiered <br /> subcontractor or supplier of a Subcontractor. <br /> 1.5.61 Substantial Completion. That stage in the progress of the Work or any designated portion thereof <br /> where Owner's Authorized Representative certifies that the construction is sufficiently complete <br /> in accordance with the Contract Documents so Owner can occupy or utilize the Work or <br /> designated portion thereof for the purpose for which it is intended, the only remaining Work is <br /> Punch List Work and any Governmental Authorities with jurisdiction over the Site have issued <br /> such certificates of occupancy or similar permits so that the Work may be lawfully occupied or <br /> used. <br /> 1.5.62 Supplementary Conditions. The part of the Conditions of the Agreement which amends or <br /> supplements the General Conditions, if any. The Supplementary Conditions may state any <br /> additional requirements unique for the Project Site or the jurisdiction where the Project is located. <br /> 1.5.63 Surety. Any entity that is bound by any Bond to undertake any obligation of Contractor under the <br /> Contract Documents in the event of Contractor's default of such obligation. Surety shall include <br /> any co-surety or reinsurer, as applicable. <br /> 1.5.64 Warranty Work. Work that must be performed under any contractual, legal, manufacturer, or <br /> other warranty, within the stipulated time period in such warranty, the performance of which is not <br /> a condition precedent to Substantial Completion. Warranty Work includes correction of Defective <br /> Work discovered after Substantial Completion but prior to the expiration of any applicable <br /> warranty. <br /> 1.5.65 Unit Price.The amount stated in Exhibit A to the Agreement for an individual, measurable item of <br /> Work, which when multiplied by the actual quantity incorporated into the Work, amounts to the <br /> full compensation for completion of the item including any Work incidental to the item. <br /> 1.5.66 Work. The entire construction required by the Contract Documents, whether specified, indicated, <br /> shown or implied, including all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, tools, transportation, <br /> supervision, services and incidentals to be provided by Contractor to Furnish and Install Products <br /> and to fulfill all Contractor's obligations under the Contract Documents, including all Amendments. <br /> The Work may constitute the whole or a part of the Project. <br /> 6 Jun-17 <br /> Ver.2.0 <br />
