(e) Work shall follow the sequence of major activities outlined in the SWPPP. <br /> 1.2 METHOD OF MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> A. Measurement and compensation for erosion and sediment control shall be paid according to the <br /> referenced specification or as modified below: <br /> 1. Payment for all work associated with Erosion and Sediment Control shall be at the contract unit price <br /> bid for that item and shall be considered full compensation for furnishing, installing, maintaining and <br /> utilizing storm water best management practices and any work specified in conjunction therewith as <br /> well as removing temporary sediment control devices when no longer necessary. <br /> B. The furnishing and installing specific items and/or the performance of work under certain circumstances <br /> shall not be individually paid in the absence of a specific bid item for the work. The costs shall be included <br /> in the unit price bid for the associated erosion control and excavation items.Such items of work include but <br /> are not limited to: <br /> 1. Complying with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency(MPCA)-General Storm Water Permit for <br /> Construction Activity(MN R100001)—Reference Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) <br /> included in the Appendix or in the drawings. <br /> 2. Providing trained Construction SWPPP Manager and BMP Installer. <br /> 3. Inspect, maintain, repair,and remove(if necessary)temporary surface stabilization practices <br /> throughout the duration of the project. <br /> 4. Maintaining clean exit areas or roads from the site. <br /> 5. Sweeping adjacent streets clean of excess soil. <br /> 6. Cleaning storm sewers,drain tiles and culverts that have been partially or completely obstructed by <br /> sediment that originated from the site. <br /> 7. Geotextile fabric for rock installation. <br /> 8. Geotextile fabric to wrap prefabricated inlet protection devices. <br /> 9. Aggregate to anchor and act as a filter for prefabricated inlet protection devices. <br /> 10. Aggregate associated with the construction of temporary sediment traps. <br /> 11. Emergency erosion control mobilization. <br /> 12. Construction, maintenance and removal of rock construction entrance. <br /> 13. Changing the type of inlet protection for different phases of construction. <br /> C. No additional payment shall be made for Erosion Control BMPs necessary to accommodate Contractor <br /> phasing of the project. <br /> 1.3 SPECIFICATION REFERENCES <br /> A.
