THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> <br />5.4. Reauest bv Draasten ProDerties for Preliminary Plat tRolling Hills!. Public Hearinq <br />Case No. P 00-6 <br /> <br />staff report by Michele McPherson. Rod Dragsten of Dragsten Properties, is <br />requesting preliminary plat approval for a 30 lot cluster subdivision on 113.6 acres <br />located in the most northeasterly corner of the city limits. Ms. McPherson <br />explained that the lots are located adjacent to a central ring road and cul-de- <br />sac, with one road connecting to Jarvis Street. A connection is proposed from <br />the ring road to the north property line, should the property to the north develop. <br />The property consists of three 40-acre parcels. The 40 acre parcel to the west will <br />be set aside for open space, and is currently partially in sod production. The <br />subdivision will be located on Parcels A & B (80 acres total), with 28.36 acres of <br />this area set aside for open space, also. The applicant proposes to refurbish the <br />barn on Outlot A for use by the Association for storage of equipment. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Ms. McPherson reviewed the layout of the lots, lot sizes, access from Jarvis, <br />pedestrian trails, grading and drainage, utilities, landscaping, tree preservation, <br />
