Staff therefore suggests that cash for one lot be <br />collected for park dedication. <br /> <br />Commission Niziolek shared that he would like to see something added to the plat to <br />protect the Blandin Turtle habitat. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COMMISSIONER NIZIOLEK AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER ANDERSON TO ACCEPT THE STAFF <br />RECOMMENDATION TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL CASH <br />DEDICATION FOR ONE LOT FOR THE SUBDIVISON REQUEST. MOTION <br />CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />9.C.1. Approve Park Development Standard Operating Procedures <br /> <br />Director of Planning, Michele McPherson presented to the Commission the updated list for <br />the Park Development Standard Operating Procedures. <br /> <br />Commissioner Paige suggested for Number Five to use the word "immediate" in both <br />places. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COMMISSIONER PAIGE AND SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />KUESTER TO ADDOPT THE PARK DEVELOPMENT STANDARD <br />OPERATING PROCEDURES WITH CURRENT CHANGES. MOTION <br />CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />9.C.2. Approve Big Tooth Ridge Park Development Plan <br /> <br />Planner/Park Planner, Chris Leeseberg presented the plan for the development of Big <br />Tooth Ridge Park. The plan showed a paved trail following the existing path through the <br />park out to 196m Court. A small section of the path consists of a wood chip trail with a <br />hand rail running along one side. Mr. Leeseberg presented four options to the Commission <br />for the development of Big Tooth Ridge Park. <br /> <br />OPTION #1 <br />Contractor digs hole to bury wood debris and generates enough dirt to fill hole at 'Y' and <br />level trail to west of 'Y'. <br />Backhoe <br />Dozer <br /> <br />10 hours <br />8 hours <br /> <br />$11 00 <br />$800 <br />$1900 <br /> <br />OPTION #2 <br />Contractor loads and hauls debris to landfill, then delivers & places 20 loads of fill sand. <br />Loader 8 hours $800 <br />Trucks 16 hours $1200 <br />Landfill costs $41/ton-100T $4100 <br />Deliver & place 20 loads of fill <br />sand $1000 <br />$7100 <br />
