Mr. Caliguire stated that the number of people is unknown but they have
talked to Central Lutheran Church about parking. The church granted the group permission
to park there but they must wait until after 3-4 p.m. due to a wedding. Ms. McPherson
stated that she will contact Ice Arena Manager Rich Czech on behalf of the group to see if
parking would be available at the arena if needed.

Commissioner Anderson suggested that the deposit be less than the maximum based on the
history of the group. This is a benefit for Tyler Thompson who was injured in a construction accident.
Approximately 200-500 people are expected to participate. Mr. Niziolek stated that if they
get a large number of people they may need to have the Police Reserves help in closing
down one lane of County Road 1 to start the race. Ms. McPherson suggested that Mr.
Niziolek contact the golf course of the race so they are aware of what is going on.

Commissioner Anderson suggested that since this is a benefit for a family that has given
much to the community over the years, that a minimum deposit be charged and no fee.

e

COMMISSIONER NYSTROM MOVED TO APPROVE THE USE OF
WooDIAND TRAILS PARK ON JULY 12, 2003 FROM 7 A.M.
