Park Dedication Ordinance: Fee Collection at Buildino Permit Issuance Michele McPherson reviewed information in the memo from Lori Johnson, Finance Director, regarding collection of park dedication fees. 9.C.l. Eaole Scout Proiect: Ticket Booth at Orono Softball Complex Mike Arco, of Boy Scout Pack #90, presented a proposal to build a 5' x 6' ticket booth at the Orono Parkway softball complex. He stated that the building will have a concrete floor and will be movable (by forklift). The building will be used to sell tickets and T-shirts during tournaments. The building will have 3'x 3' hinged windows on three sides which can be removed. There will be a display area on the window ledge and shelves will be provided inside the building for storage. The siding and roof materials will match the existing buildings at the softball complex. Mike stated that the project will be completed in time for the start of softball tournaments. Commissioner Kuester asked if the building materials and labor will be donated to the softball complex. Mike Arco stated that he will donate his labor and the materials will also be donated. COMMISSIONER DANA ANDERSON MOVED TO SUPPORT THE EAGLE SCOUT TICKET BOOTH PROJECT PROPOSAL BY MIKE ARCO. COMMISSIONER REITSMA SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 8-0. 9.C.2. Country Crossinos I Park Design Implementation Steve Wensman stated that he and Phil Hals met with Mrs. Kunnenan regarding the proposed plaque for the Country Crossing 1 st Park and indicated that she was comfortable having her late husband recognized in this manner. COMMISSIONER KUESTER MOVED APPROVAL OF THE CONCEPT FOR THE COUNTRY CROSSING PARK MEMORIAL, AND, TO INVITE THE COUNTRY CROSSING 1ST ADDITION NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTS TO ATTEND THE JANUARY 12, 2000, PARK & RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING FOR INPUT ON THE PARK CONCEPT CHANGES. COMMISSIONER DANA ANDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 8-0. 9.C.3. Padded Hockey Goal Cost The Commissioners discussed the hockey goal information provided by Phil Hals. COMMISSIONER KUESTER MOVED TO RECOMMEND THE EXPENDITURE OF UP TO $3,000 TO PURCHASE THREE (3) PAIRS OF COMPLETE HOCKEY GOALS FOR THE CITY'S THREE OUTDOOR HOCKEY RINKS. COMMISSIONER DAVE ANDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 8-0.
