<br />r <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />September 21, 1981 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />Councilman Engstrom suggested that an easement be placed along the property <br />lines for the possibility of a service road in the future. <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Klein indicated that ag easement could be done but that it would not <br />be necessary as a part of the final plat. <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN DUITSMAN MOVED APPROVAL OF BECK'S SUBDIVIS ION PRELIMINARY PLAT. <br />COUNCILMAN ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />6. PAY ESTIMATE 112 FOR BARRINGTON PLACE <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle indicated that Pay Estimate 112 in the amount of $48,891.01 has <br />been approved by the City Engineer and recommended for payment. <br /> <br />Councilman Toth indicated that there was some problems with the bituminous <br />surfacing of Dodge Avenue. <br /> <br />Mr. Terry Mauer, Consulting Engineers Diversified, indicated that the Engineers <br />have a punch list of repairs and improvements to be done by H&S. Mr. Mauer <br />further indicated that the seeding and sodding would all be done at ~he same <br />time and further indicated that the project is expected to be completed by <br />the completion date. <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN DUITSMAN MOVED TO APPROVE PAY ESTIMATE 112 IN THE AMOUNT OF $48,891.01 <br />FOR BARRINGTON PLACE. COUNCILMAN TOTH SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />7. PAY ESTIMATE 112 FOR SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN DUITSMAN MOVED TO APPROVE PAY ESTIMATE 112 TO NORTHDALE CONSTRUCTION <br />FOR WORK ON THE SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR IN THE AMOUNT OF $117,261.01 WITH <br />THE RES.ERVATION THAT THE WATER PROBLEM BEHIND THE SCHOOLVIEW ADDITION BE <br />SOLVED. COUNCILMAN ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />8. STAFF CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN DUITSMAN MOVED TO APPROVE THE ATTENDANCE OF THE DEPUTY CITY CLERK <br />AT THE MUNICIPAL FINANCE OFFICERS CONFERENCE OCTOBER 14 THROUGH OCTOBER 16. <br />COUNCILMAN SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />9. PINEWOOD ASSESSMENTS AND PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle indicated that Consulting Engineers Diversified had contacted the <br />developer of the project to review the assessments proposed per individual lot <br />within the subdivision and further indicated that it is the City's understanding <br />that the developer finds the assessment spread acceptable and does not pose any <br />objections to the assessment role as prepared. Mayor Hinkle then asked the <br />general public for any questions or objections to the assessment role. <br /> <br />Councilman Toth questioned Mr. Terry Mauer, Consulting Engineers Diversified, <br />as to the completion of the project. <br /> <br />Mr. Terry Mpuer indicated that the project was completed January 1, 1981 and <br />further indicated that they would be making an inspection of the project before <br />the one-year warranty is due. <br />
